What is additional spot rank in KCET

Most of the students don't get their  KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) Ranking on the result day.

First let me give some of the reason why does this happen:-

1.  Maybe in the exam OMR sheet you may have not entered the correct Roll number.
2. OR If you had made a mistake of version code mentioned in Question Paper.
3. Not just that some students who have studied 12th standard from other boards like (CBSE or CISCE) will compulsory need to enter their 12th marks.

• These are the main problems if other problems have been reported to KEA board.
• IF your Rank is not being displayed then visit KEA website and update your PUC marks.
• Then after the rectification of all these above issues which is corrected and will release Spot ranking system know has Addition Spot Ranking.

The KEA computers are programmed to assign new ranks or fresh ranks to candidates falling within these categories without disturbing the rank numbers assigned to the candidates whose results were declared earlier. 

Therefore, such candidates/parents need not panic or worry. Spot ranks (G55) are going to be assigned supported the eligibility as and once they submit the required documents on the specified dates before seat allotment.
