• This Orbiter is placed in Lunar Polor orbit and is used for Mapping from an altitude of 100 kms.       

Scientific Reason:-  3-D Mapping, Capture High Resolution images, to study Lunar Chemical Composition and Lunar Exosphere.

• Weight:-2379 Kgs

Fuel Weight of Orbitor:-1683 Kgs

• Electric Power Generation:- 1000W
• Orbiter Mission Duration:- It was supposed to be 1 year how ever it was extended to 7 years.
• It is Capable of Communicating with Indian Deep Space Network [IDSN] and Lander(Vikram).
